Marron’s Pharmacy was established on Clane’s Main Street back in 1957. Since opening they have cared about the well-being of each and every customer who walks through their doors. They stock a wide range of medical products and offer the highest quality of health services in store.

When ITM were approached to redevelop their website the primary focus was to deliver a rich, interactive online experience that matched the customer experience enjoyed in their bricks and mortar store, whilst providing easy access to their information and support services.

 

01. Concept

A clean and uncluttered website that’s easy to use by older people with distinctive areas for announcing offers and promotions.

02. E-commerce Functionality

Configured to handle over 3500 products with many variations, robust e-commerce functionality was a prerequisite. The store also had to conform to HPRA standards.

Taking into account that a part of Marron’s Pharmacy’s customer base are elderly people, the site design needed to be clean, clear making it very easy to use.

e-commerce security protocols that protect both the businesses as well as the customers sharing their personal information when purchasing goods.

The pharmacy provides vaccination services, blood pressure measurement and diabetes testing, among others. So we needed to create a robust scheduling system.

The project was successfully delivered with all products and pages present and correct. The existing user database and all sales and scheduling data from the previous site were comprehensively imported. The website is hosted on a high-capacity dedicated server.
