Last year, we wrote a blog about how your business can avail of the Online Trading Voucher from the Local Enterprise Office. This voucher grants up to €2,500 in funding, or 50% of the cost for a new e-commerce website. The online voucher scheme offers businesses not only an opportunity to start trading online, but to reach new markets as well.
More recently, businesses are now able to apply for a second Online Trading Voucher, which can be used towards a variety of activities, including:
- Implementing a Digital Marketing Strategy
- Development or upgrade of an e-commerce website
- IT Consultation, and much more.
what are the requirements for the second online trading voucher?
Please be aware that previous applicants cannot apply for a second online trading voucher until they have submitted a final claim on their first application.
To be eligible for an online trading voucher, your business must have:
- Little or no e-commerce presence;
- 10 or less employees;
- Have a turn over less than 10 million;
- Be officially in trade for at least six months;
- Be registered with the Local Enterprise Office within the region your business is registered to.
