Project Scope.

Shine, established in 1979, is a national organisation providing information and support for people affected by mental health difficulties. They aim to empower people with mental health difficulties and their families through support, information and education whilst advocating for social change by promoting and defending the rights of all those affected by mental health difficulties to equal support and quality services.

We were approached by Shine to redevelop their website with a primary focus to deliver a rich, pleasant and interactive online experience for their visitors, whilst providing easy access to their information and support services.

Given our successful collaborations on previous projects with Shine’s sister organisations, See Change and Headline, ITM Digital the natural choice as their design partner once again.

What we Achieved.

The following goals were achieved during the website development project.

When we went in search of a digital agency to re-create the Shine website, we had a number of requirements. An understanding of our organisation, our mission, the work we do and the people we work with were high on our list of priorities. Having previously designed websites for our programmes Headline and See Change, ITM were the obvious choice. We were seeking an entire overhaul and redesign of our website with the primary focus to deliver a rich, pleasant and interactive online experience for visitors to shine.ie and to ensure that all visitors to the site had full access to the required information on our services and supports. Ease of use and minimalist design were a priority. ITM created a website that perfectly represented our vision. They were really easy to communicate with from day one and were always willing and available to help us with tedious editing and providing suggestions for the best online experience for our users. Their ability to adapt and respond quickly to our requests has been reassuring. We were delighted with the high quality final product which was completed within the agreed timeframe and on budget.
